Country music singer/songwriter Phil Vassar will take center stage at the third annual Grand Slam Charity Jam.
Tickets are on sale for the event which takes place on Saturday, March 9, at Potawatomi Bingo Casino on Canal Street.
Proceeds from the night will benefit Camp Hometown Heroes which is being sponsored by Kapco, Inc. and Gruber Law Offices LLC.
Camp Hometown Heroes is a free, week-long camp in Wisconsin for children who lost a parent or sibling through service in the U.S. military.
Additional help comes from the Brewers Community Foundation, Aurora Health Care, Milwaukee Admirals, Culvers, ACZuckerman Jewelers, Direct Supply, Associated Bank, Exacto and BMO Harris Bank.
Barry Williams, Greg Brady on the Brady Bunch, will emcee the VIP and celebrity dinner party with a bountiful buffet and spirits.
In addition,there will be a silent auction, red carpet celebrity appearances by 2012 Miss America Laura Kaeppeler, Survivor Africa winner Ethan Zohn and the music will be provided by Naima Adedapo, Erika Hoyt, Chasin' Mason, Carley Wilemon and others from the K-Nation music stable.
Sportstalk radio host Bill Michaels (WSSP 1250 AM) will host a sports Q & A with baseball legend and hall-of-famer Robin Yount, Gilbert Brown and others and there be a high-end, live auction during the concert.
Milwaukee's own Danny Gokey will join Vassar on the Northern Lights Theater stage for the show.
