Peter Asher to induct Brian Epstein into Rock and Rock Hall of Fame

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame announced March 31 that Peter Asher will give the speech inducting Brian Epstein in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Asher, who will also induct Rolling Stones manager Andrew Loog Oldham, is one of several guests who will be attending the ceremony, according to the Hall's announcement. Chris Martin is inducting Peter Gabriel, who will perform. Questlove will induct Hall and Oates, who also will perform. KISS will be inducted by Tom Morello. The group will not perform in a dispute over which lineup should play.

Michael Stipe will induct Nirvana. Linda Ronstadt will be inducted by Glenn Frey. There will be a special musical tribute from Bonnie Raitt, Stevie Nicks, Carrie Underwood, Emmylou Harris and Sheryl Crow.

Bruce Springsteen will induct the E Street Band, who will also be performing. Cat Stevens will also be inducted and perform, though his inductee speaker was not announced.

The 2014 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductions will be held at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York on April 10. The ceremony will premiere on HBO at 9 p.m. ET/PT May 31. A limited number of tickets to attend the ceremony are still available at
