Windows Explorer can be used to delete files or folders. To delete, select a file or folder or group of files/folders, then hit the DELETE key or right click on the selection and choose Delete. The file(s)/folder(s) are sent to the recycle bin and can be restored if the user changes his/her mind.

Be careful when deleting files/folders. Don't delete files or folders if you don't know what they are or what they are used for.
