ParkJockey, a mobile app and website that helps users easily find and book parking, in advance and on-the-go, has officially launched. The team, who has been quietly working on their offering since they helped you score prime parking during Art Basel, is now taking over all of Miami.
Drastically reducing the time spent searching for a parking spot, the app is designed to make parking logistics a “one-touch” experience. ParkJockey seamlessly syncs with your personal calendars, displays parking space availability, estimates walking distance and learns your preferences (valet vs. self-park, covered vs. uncovered) - but best of all, it allows you to secure a spot before even leaving the house. Early adopters have already used the app to secure spots for Ultra Music Festival, South Beach Wine & Food Festival, Miami Heat games, Adrienne Arsht Center events, and the list goes on.
Umut Tekin, CEO and Co-Founder of ParkJockey said: “Parking in Miami is such a hassle, it’s not surprising drivers are looking for a better way. We created ParkJockey to simplify the whole process and make it as seamless as possible. In just a few taps, you can compare prices, reserve and pay for your parking in advance, with the peace of mind that you’ll have a spot waiting for you when you arrive.”
ParkJockey started in Miami. Led by a team of experienced technology entrepreneurs, management consultants and parking specialists, ParkJockey has unrivalled expertise in the industry, and will continue its growth through a rapid program of expansion across Miami, London and beyond, with a Chicago launch scheduled for May, followed by launches in New York, San Francisco, Amsterdam, Paris and Istanbul by end of the year.
ParkJockey has already been recognized in the UK, winning a prize for “Innovation in Consumer Experience” and also been accepted as a member of the British Parking Association.
