Want to get paid to take surveys? We interviewed a successful stay at home mom who reveals the best paid online surveys for money programs and tips and tricks.
With many families struggling to make ends meet, and with college students having a hard time finding jobs, now more than ever people are looking for a way to either supplement their income, or find something they can do to work from home and make money online.
But with all of the different programs out there, it can be hard to figure out which ones pay the most money. Most importantly, which programs pay fast.
Examiner.com was recently introduced to a women by the name of Sarah from Tempe AZ who has been able to make a decent living while staying home and taking care of her three children. She has been able to make upwards of $3000 per month that has helped her family since her husbands’ wages have lowered significantly since the recession.
We recently spoke with Sarah and she shared some tips with us:
You are not going to make hundreds of thousands of dollars a year. Don’t listen to some of these scams that claim you can get rich. You can’t! But what you can do is make some decent money on the side and depending on what your cost of living is, you might be able to live well.
Make sure you fill out your profile and include your picture on each of these sites. You are getting paid based upon your “demographic” which means these companies who are paying for your information want to know a little about you. The more you tell about yourself, the more invitations you will get.
(Editor Note: She also goes on to point out that these programs are best for stay at home moms or young adults in school or working a part-time job.)
Set up a separate Gmail, Yahoo, or Hotmail account that is specifically for the paid survey sites because you will be getting a lot of emails and you don’t want to be overwhelmed with all of the requests in your personal inbox.
If an online paid survey site asks for your social security number, do not give it to them. An honest company will never ask for it or your bank account info. They only need your Paypal ID to send you money or address and full name to send you a check. However, if you are paid more than $600 then they will need this information because they have to report your earnings to the IRS.
Make sure you keep your paid survey email invitation ID number. Sometimes they forget to give you credit for the survey you completed and that ID number will be your way of ensuring you get paid.
And of course, make sure you keep a record of every survey you finish. They have a lot of people taking surveys and some will forget to pay you. In this job you also have to be a collections agency! But don’t worry, so long as you keep your invitation ID and the completed survey you are fine.
Sign up for a free roboform account so that it can help you autofill your username and password. Having to manage so many passwords can get tricky once you are on ten, twenty, thirty of these sites. And try to make your username the same on all of them so at least you only have to deal with your password.
If you want to make money online with surveys fast, then you need to set up (or already have) a PayPal account. If you ask them to pay you by check in can take upwards of 6 weeks to get paid.
Join as many list sites as you can get. You need to be on all of the lists so that you can get enough requests to take these surveys. So make sure you are on all of them.
What I did was joined a group called Click4Surveys run by Daniel Cooper who help you gain access to all of these sites and also act as a support group to help each other. It does take some figuring out along the way and its good to have help. Plus by being a part of this group you don’t have to go to each site individually (there are hundreds of them) which makes it much easier.
What Click4Surveys does is brings all the companies under one roof and makes it easier to manage them all. You can learn more about them by clicking here.
