The Arcadia, Fla. dog, rescuers named Hope, may soon get justice. On Monday, her owner, Larry Wallace was arrested and charged with felony animal cruelty and arson reported

On March 20, police responded to a report that a dog had been set on fire, and neighborhood children watched as the dog's owner threw water on the dog trying to put out the kerosene induced flames.

The dog, a one-year-old Sharpei mix, was immediately placed in the care of Hardee Animal Rescue Team (HART) who has been raising funds for the dog's care. Hope has been recovering at the Blue Pearl Veterinary Partners in Tampa, and has been making a remarkable recovery.
