One Direction and James Arthur were winners and performers at the 15th Annual NRJ Music Awards, which were held Dec. 14, 2013, at Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France.

One Direction won the prizes for Best International Group or Duo and Best Music Video (for "Best Song Ever"). The group performed "Story of My Life" at the awards show.

James Arthur won the prize for International Revelation of the Year. He performed "Impossible" with Israeli singer Tal at the awards show.

One Direction came in third place on "The X Factor" U.K. in 2010. Arthur was the winner of "The X Factor" U.K. in 2012.

When accepting the award for Best International Group, One Direction's Niall Horan said, "Thank you to our amazing fans for giving us this award. Thanks to our French label Sony Music. Again, [thanks] to our amazing fans, because this would not happen without you. Thank you. We love you."

When accepting the award for Best Video, One Direction's Harry Styles said, "Thank you so much to all of our French fans and the director of the video, Ben Winston. Thank you so much for having us here."

In January 2013, One Direction won the prize for Best International Group or Duo at the 14th Annual NRJ Music Awards.

One Direction, the world's biggest-selling act to emerge from "The X Factor," has won numerous other awards, including Brit Awards, MTV Video Music Awards, Billboard Music Awards, People's Choice Awards, American Music Awards, Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards, Teen Choice Awards, MTV Europe Music Awards, Radio Disney Awards, BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards and ARIA Awards.
