The Ohio State band performed at halftime of the Ohio State Buckeyes game with the Iowa Hawkeyes and pulled off some nice moves. According to Today.com on Oct. 21, the band played a tribute to Michael Jackson and moonwalked during their performance.
This was very impressive, as marching and keeping in beat is hard enough. But, in this case, they formed into Michael Jackson and had him moonwalk while playing, which was the special Michael Jackson dance move where the singer woiuld move backwards while performing. It was very impressive.
It should come as no surprise because the Ohio State band is one of the top bands in the nation.
The band played parts of “Thriller” and “Bad” and then, when they played “The Way You Make Me Feel,” they formed a profile of Michael Jacksonall started moonwalking backwards across the field. They even finished it up by having Jackson do the splits at the end.
Since hitting YouTube, the Ohio State band performance has almost three million views as of Tuesday afternoon. Close to two million of those came since the story went national on Monday morning. The Ohio State band also has another video that has over 15 million views since October 2012.
