Madison Square Garden is the latest venue to be added to the roster of iconic venues that Jason Aldean's managed to sell out in just minutes.
All tickets for the songster's March 2 stop in the Big Apple as part of his 2013 Night Train Tour were snatched up within 10 minutes of going on sale Jan. 18. The sell-out success mirrors that which Aldean experienced in late 2012 when he sold out 2013 show dates at Boston's Fenway Park and Chicago's Wrigley Field in record time.
"I think people underestimate country music's popularity in New York City," Aldean said in a Jan. 18 correspondence shared with Examiner.com. "The Garden is one of those places every artist dreams of playing. I am blown away that my show sold out that quickly. ... It makes me even more excited to hit rehearsals this month and get the Night Train Tour on the road. I can't wait to see you, New York!"
Country artists Jake Owen and Thomas Rhett will open for Aldean during the tour, which kicks off Feb. 21 in Bossier City, La.
