Double nominee Nicole Kidman is nominated for a 2013 SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role and for an Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Movie or Miniseries.
In the movie category, she is nominated for her role in “The Paperboy.” She goes up against Sally Field (“Lincoln), Helen Hunt (“The Sessions”), Anne Hathaway (“Les Misérables”) and Maggie Smith (“Best Exotic Marigold Hotel”).
In the television category, she is nominated for her role in “Hemingway & Gellhorn,” and is up against Alfre Woodard (“Steel Magnolias”), Julianne Moore (“Game Change”), Sigourney Weaver (“Political nimals”)and Charlotte Rampling (“Restless”).
Kidman is a red carpet favorite. She looks good almost anything. We love her ability to switch thing up. Whether it’s a pant suit, a cocktail dress or a gown, the fashionista’s statuesque figure can pull off anything. One of our favorite SAG red carpet looks is Kidman’s black Nina Ricci pre-fall 2011 gown she rocked to the 2011 Awards show.
This year, Kidman has stepped back into her fashion element, thanks to her Grace Kelly role. If it is possible to take the personality of a character, then Kidman has fully embraced Kelly on every red carpet this year. Kidman was gorgeous in Alexander McQueen on the Golden Globes 2013 red carpet. The actress accessorized her black Alexander McQueen dress with Manolo Blahnik heels, Fred Leighton jewels, and a Roger Vivier clutch.
We won’t take any bets on Kidman, but we are hoping for a stylish surprise.
The SAG awards will air live at 8 p.m. EST on Jan. 27 on TNT and TBS.
