Nicki Minaj confusion is making celebrity news headlines tonight after the Huffington Post reported this Friday, March 1, that the talented “American Idol” judge recently opened up on rumors that she has had plastic surgery on her face. While Nicki Minaj certainly doesn’t mind the questions around her good looks or bountiful bum, she still denies reports that she’s had any facial surgery or enhancements above the neck.
Although Nicki Minaj fans may be known as “Barbies”, the “American Idol” judge insists she is not plastic.
”I’ve never had surgery on my face. They’ll see contour and they’ll think you had surgery on your nose, no no no, look at 'RuPaul’s Drag Race' and you’ll see how you can make your nose look any shape you want," she said in her interview with Extra.
The Nicki Minaj confusion headline isn’t fazing the music star about her face, though she was noticeably silent on any rumors surrounding her butt being fake. The “Starships” singer has never opened up about enhancing her bigger behind, though she isn’t unhappy with the plastic surgery rumors surrounding that, at least. If it keeps the fans thinking about Nicki Minaj, the "Idol" judge seems totally fine with it.
“I don’t mind the questions, I don’t mind the fascination ... But I’ve said this before, it doesn’t define me. So, I try my best not to focus my energy on it," said Nicki Minaj. "Like, if you guys focus energy on and spend energy on it, I don’t mind it. You know, people are sitting in the barbershop talking about my butt, it’s conversational. That’s what people are gonna do. As long as they’re talking about Nicki Minaj, I’m good."
