  • WFGX-TV started broadcasting on radio frequency sub-channel 50-2 (or virtual sub-channel 32-2) again earlier this July as part of their recent affiliation with getTV, the national TV programming service providing the programming for the sub-channel.
  • The cable TV system operated by Comcast Cablevision of Mobile started providing a vertically-distorted version of WHBR-TV's main programming earlier this July through the cable TV channel it normally used to provide their main programming in standard definition (the channel normally used for broadcasting a high-definition version of WHBR-TV's main channel still had their programming displayed properly afterwards).
  • The electronic TV programming guides from the World Wide Web site Zap2it and the cable TV system operated by Comcast Cablevision of Mobile incorrectly had the theatrical movie "Baby Boy" listed for both WALA-TV and their companion station WFNA-TV for the same time period (between 1:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.) and incorrectly had the syndicated program "RightThisMinute" listed for the last 30 minutes of that time period for WFNA-TV while TitanTV correctly had "Baby Boy" listed only for WFNA-TV for the entire time period (the official World Wide Web site for TV Guide had "To Be Announced" for both WALA-TV and WFNA-TV for the same time period before and during the passage of that time period, along with "RightThisMinute" for the last 30 minutes of the time period). Even while WFNA-TV was the only local TV station broadcasting "Baby Boy" while WALA-TV was broadcasting the theatrical movie "A League of Their Own" (for the entire time period), the programming guides from Zap2it and the cable TV system still had the same incorrect information.
