New York Travel Writers Society has announced that their 2013 award nominations are now open for businesses and corporations. There are over 17 business/corporate categories ranging from cruise lines to tour companies to hotels, and, membership is not required to enter. The categories include:
- 2013 Cruise Line of the Year
- 2013 Luxury Cruise Line of the Year
- 2013 Hotel of the Year
- 2013 Luxury Hotel of the Year
- 2013 Spa of the Year
- 2013 Tour Company of the Year
- 2013 Eco Tour Company of the Year
- 2013 Luxury Tour Company of the Year
- 2013 Travel Magazine of the Year
- 2013 Travel Blogger Website of the Year
- 2013 Culinary Magazine of the Year
- 2013 Culinary Blogger Website of the Year
- 2013 Travel Photo in a Magazine or Newspaper of the Year
- 2013 Travel Television Program of the Year
- 2013 Travel Radio program of the Year
- 2013 Travel Podcast of the Year
- 2013 Airline of the Year
Making this awards ceremony different from others is that once the nomination process closes, voting is conducted among over 750 International NYTWS members who are professional travel writers, travel photographers, travel public relations specialists, and, other travel and hospitality professionals. (People who know about the business of travel, thus, making these awards rather prestigious to win.)
