Known as one of the toughest video game series of all time, Tecmo Koei’s “Ninja Gaiden” series attracts hardcore gamers who look for an extremely-difficult challenge. The new “Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z” appears to be no different in these screenshots. Scroll through the slideshow to see for yourself.
After Hayabusa, the acrobatic and deadly protagonist from previous “Ninja Gaiden” games, severly injures Yaiba, a ninja who killed his entire clan, Yaiba is rebuilt as a robot who is built to destroy zombies. It doesn’t look like Team Ninja is following the typical modern “Ninja Gaiden” gameplay and is going back to a 2.5D look sure to play like a mix of the original NES games and the current series. Surely, the difficulty will be ramped up to an unbelievable hard level, which “Ninja Gaiden” has always prided itself on. Look for the game on PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 on February 28.
