The doors are open now at Scoozi Ristorante in the Radisson Hotel at Cross Keys. The hotel has been having a facelift to the tune of $6 million dollars and part of that was a new restaurant. A restaurant geared not only for hotel guests but for the general public. The cuisine is Mediterranean – Italian offering up seafood the likes of calamari and Oysters Rockefeller, pizzas from their wood burning oven, and these were a couple items I tasted at a preview back in October.
On that October evening, a number of media folks tasted a cross section of items from the upcoming menu by Executive Chef Tim Roberston and food and wine pairing demonstration from one of the hotel’s principal owners and wine enthusiast, Bill Kohl. The restaurant will be featuring menus on electronic tablets. For the vinophile you will find a nice cross sections of wines by the bottle and numerous ones by the glass.
The restaurant officially opened just a couple days ago and are in the soft opening phase– do stop by and check Scoozi Ristorante out, especially for the pizza. Free parking available at the hotel. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
