A new set of screenshots have been posted by the Japanese branch of Atlus for the upcoming multiplatform video game, “Dragon’s Crown.” The latest images take a look at the sorceress class, which specializes in long-range magic spells. Among the maneuvers shown are ice, lightning and wind attacks. You can check out the new screens, as well as several older shots of the 2D action role-playing title, in the slideshow at the top of this article.

“Dragon’s Crown” is a new franchise from Vanillaware, the studio that previously developed “Odin Sphere” for the Playstation 2 in addition to “Muramasa: The Demon Blade” for the Nintendo Wii U and Playstation Vita.

Atlus took over the publishing duties of “Dragon’s Crown” from UTV Ignition Games. They are also helping Vanillaware with development. The video game, which is priced at $49.99 on the Playstation 3 and $39.99 on the Playstation Vita, is slated to come out in the North American region later this year.
