New direct flights between Miami and Prague (Photos)

New service offers easy route to Prague

Miami International Airport will soon be linked to the city of Prague with direct flights from the Czech capital beginning November 14th, 2012. The first ever air service between the Czech Republic and Miami will be launched by Travel Service Airlines and will be flown using Boeing 737-800 equipment.

The new service will operate twice weekly and fares will be announced soon.

The "direct" air-service makes a brief technical stop at Terceira in the Azores in each direction; however this is still by far the quickest way to travel between South Florida and Prague.

Easier travel to Czech Republic

In addition to the convenience offered by this new service; The Czech Republic is now a participant in the U.S. Visa Waiver Program, which allows travel to the U.S. for stays of 90 days or less without obtaining a visa.
