Although common among free-to-play titles, grab bags or gambling packs are not always popular. With a heavily restricted, and highly monetized, hybrid free-to-play model, "Star Wars: The Old Republic" is no stranger to the game's version of grab bags called "shipments."
One shipment; consisting of the Cartel Packs, was available in the Cartel Market. These packs were retired; however, as a new shipment is released. This new shipment consists of the Contraband Packs.
These packs have a whole new set of exclusive items. Ride upon a small pleasure barge, pick up a new fancy weapon, or go bare foot with these new goods. But just like an infomercial, that's not all! These new packs usher in a new way of obtaining retired items from the Cartel Packs. Each time a Contraband Pack is opened reputation can be earned with the Contraband Resale Corporation.
