Nefarox, Overlord of Grixis - 4BB
Legendary Creature - Demon (Rare)
(Whenever a creature you control attacks alone, that creature gets +1/+1 until end of turn.)
Whenever Nefarox, Overlord of Grixis attacks alone, defending player sacrifices a creature.

Nefarox, Overlord of Grixis is one of five new legendary creatures in the set and makes a great late game companion to Demonic Rising because it can keep your opponent's creature count in check (if it doesn't kill your opponent first).

There's a reason why Geth's Verdict, Smallpox, and Liliana of the Veil are so widely played in black decks: Because they don't target it can help deal with annoying creatures with hexproof like Dungrove Elder or equipped by Swiftfoot Boots. Nefarox, Overlord of Grixis will help you in this endeavor, provided that your opponent doesn't have a Sigarda, Host of Herons on the battlefield.

Nefarox, Overlord of Grixis makes a fantastic addition to a black white exalted deck running early threats like Knight of Infamy and the amazing Sublime Archangel. Don't forget to add in a play set of Cathedral of War.

As a Demon Nefarox, Overlord of Grixis is an exemplary inclusion to any Kaalia of the Vast deck in Commander. Gisela, Blade of Goldnight, Herald of War, and Harvester of Souls are a few other recent creatures that might help such a deck.

How will you use Nefarox, Overlord of Grixis?
