Are you ready for another powerful case? That is what is coming up in next week's new "NCIS" episode, 11x22, "Shooter," for which CBS released a new sneak preview on Tuesday, April 22, after this week's re-run of Ralph Waite's last appearance as Jackson Gibbs. Following "Alleged" and a look at personal assault among the ranks in the military, we have another important episode coming up with "Shooter," which is going to shine the light on homeless veterans. As we saw in the last episode, Abby (Pauley Perrette) reached out to the victim, and she's going to be reaching out again in next week's hour. Will she be successful in helping?

In this next "NCIS" episode, a Marine photographer disappear prior to providing his testimony in an Army court-martial hearing about a highly publicized Afghanistan murder case, and the case falls in Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and his team's hands. The agents have to investigate both the murder the photographer witnessed and his current piece on military veterans who are homeless in the D.C. area. Meanwhile, Abby tries to help a young homeless woman reconnect with her family.

The "Shooter" promo offers a look at the Marine photographer at work and suggests that there might not be a happy ending for him. Tony (Michael Weatherly) sums up the case in one sentence: A Marine photojournalist is doing a story on a homeless veteran, and 24 hours later, both are dead. But is the photojournalist dead, or will they find the photographer alive? The investigation brings the team into the world of the homeless, and Abby just wants to do more to help. "How do you end up like that, Leon?" Gibbs asks the NCIS Director.

"NCIS" season 11 airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on CBS. What do you think of the episode 22 "Shooter" preview?
