NATO occupies all petroleum platforms in Libya

See also is reporting that 12,000 American troops were in Malta waiting for "deployment" to Libya.

“The US is doing this without a UN resolution”, claim Russian military analysts who are very concerned that this is part of an effort to wage a wider war in the Middle East and Africa.

Russians worry that continued US war mongering will threaten world peace

Is this how the White House withdraws troops from Iraq?

Apparently so, but they do not wish the US public to know it.

The White house did not respond to emails asking for clarification on this supposed troop deployment.

The US Embassy has denied claims made by a former US Congresswoman that thousands of American troops were in Malta waiting to go to Libya.

“The US Embassy reiterates the Maltese government’s statement categorically denying claims that there are US troops in Malta,” it said in a one-line statement. The claims were made earlier this week by Cynthia McKinney, a peace activist and a former US Presidential nominee for the Green Party, on her blog under the headline: Why Is President Obama Sending 12,000 US Troops To Libya?

The first batch of American army troops and mercenary contractors have already arrived at the Mitiga military airbase, east of Tripoli, according to Libyan media sources.

A fact not reported in US media outlets. "Its unclear what is going on in Libya", sasy Howard Spearman of Charlotte.

According to the independent “Islam Times” – the US is deploying 12,000 troops

( ).

“Its important for President Obama to come out and deny these claims – if they are untrue”, says Doug Hildenbratt of Charlotte, N.C. “Instead he seems to be ignoring this issue”, he A doctor with the Libyan resistance who also acts as a journalist reports that “all of the petroleum platforms in Libya are occupied by NATO and that their warships occupy Libya's ports.” The Pentagon denies this.

“Clearly the US is protecting Libyan oil for western corporations”, says Matt Black of Charlotte.

US troop presence has been reported in Brega, Ras Lanouf and Sirte - in order to help themselves to Libyan oil so that Western corporation get the oil at a very cheap price...if not totally for free.

Meanwhile, according to foreign news reports “the people of Libya live in constant fear.”

This in a country where not long ago,, woman or child, could safely venture out any time of night or day without fear of molestation. Now no one is safe, even in their own home.

“There is little food, people are starving. They wait in lines for hours to get their own gas. There is no running water or electricity.” Says Mary Abrara of Libya.

This is fast becoming the signature situation of US military interventionism around the world.
