Six of San Antonio’s best known chefs will be part of a once in a lifetime opportunity at Nao Restaurant next week. On Thursday March 13 Nao and USA Today are bringing them together for “Experience Food and Wine in Texas.”
These chefs are CIA alumni and are coming back to cook at their alma mater. Guests will be able to mingle with the chefs before the dinner and then taste the different cuisines in a six-course dinner as each course is paired with wine, cocktails or beer. There will also be live music, meal commentaries from the chefs and more. Participating chefs include:

Nao is a student-staffed restaurant at the Culinary Institute of America. Their menu features Latin American dishes rooted in tradition but reinvented using a variety of ingredients and techniques. The name itself comes from the Latin root “neo” (to weave or intertwine) and the English root meaning something new.
