Music star John Legend, MSNBC's Touré mock black Rush Limbaugh fans

On Wednesday, MSNBC's Touré and music star John Legend mocked black fans of conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh on Twitter, Twitchy reported.

"Being tweeted at by a Black Rush Limbaugh diehard fan is always fun," Touré tweeted.

"You gotta respect that person's tolerance for cognitive dissonance," Legend responded.

Touré responded, telling Legend that he couldn't respect blacks who like Limbaugh.

"I wish I could! RT @johnlegend: @Toure You gotta respect that person's tolerance for cognitive dissonance," he wrote.

Twitchy excoriated Touré and Legend for the condescending tweets.

"And there’s liberal tolerance in a nutshell," Twitchy wrote. "No respect for individuality. No respect for different opinions. And definitely no respect for black Americans who refuse to kowtow to leftist thought police like Touré and Legend."

"Cognitive dissonance" is defined as a "psychological conflict resulting from simultaneously held incongruous beliefs and attitudes (as a fondness for smoking and a belief that it is harmful)."

"In this case, those incongruous beliefs are presumably being black and being a Rush Limbaugh fan," The Blaze's Erica Ritz wrote.

During the election, Touré leveled numerous charges of racism against Mitt Romney and the GOP.

At one point, he claimed that the word "crime" is racial code and falsely labeled the GOP as an "all-white party."

He also said the word "angry" is racial code and angered conservatives when he accused Romney of subjecting President Barack Obama to “ni**erization.”
