Motley Crue singer rushed to hospital

Motley Crue frontman Vince Neil has been rushed to hospital following an onstage kidney stone attack.

According to an article posted today at NME.com, the Los Angeles bad boys were gigging in Sydney, Australia today when the singer was stricken, forcing the veteran rockers to cut their set short.

Guitarist Mick Mars tweeted an apology to fans explaining the situation, writing: “Sydney, my apologies for a short set this evening. Vince had an attack of kidney stones. He went straight from stage to the hospital.”

The group promised to post updates on Neil’s condition as news become available.

The “Dr. Feelgood” hitmakers are currently wrapping up the Australian Monster Tour leg with Kiss and Thin Lizzy, before heading to Canada for a solo tour next month.

Their next show is scheduled for March 12 in Boondall, Australia at Brisbane Entertainment Centre.
