On Monday, PayAnywhere issued a helpful reminder to the legions of merchants and customers who depend on the mobile payment solution in their daily business activities across the U.S.
The following are the holiday hours for New Year's Eve and New Year's Day:
New Year's Eve (Tuesday, December 31, 2013) PayAnywhere will be closing at 6 p.m. EST with Tech Support remaining open until 9 p.m.
All ACH debits and credits made on this day will be reflected on Thursday, January 2.
"Also note that UPS will only be picking up air packages on this day," PayAnywhere says on its blog. "Keep in mind that packages in-transit will experience a one-day delivery delay due to UPS being closed on New Year's Day."
New Year's Day (Wednesday, January 2, 2014) PayAnywhere, our bank, the Federal Reserve, and UPS will all be closed on New Year's Day. If you have any activity on your account on New Year's Day we will process it on Thursday, January 2 with those credits/debits reflected in your account on Friday, January 3. There will be no deliveries or pickups made on this day.
