MLB 2K13 isn't really offering anything new this year

It looks like a game that was not intended to be released will be the first to fall into a category that happens when a new generation of console systems is on the way. Gamespot has revealed the features for MLB 2K13, and when you revisit MLB 2K12, you won't see much of a difference. According to a lot of posts i've seen across the internet, fans would be okay with 2K simply addressing the bugs in the game. If they also want to generate sales, maybe 2K should pull a "2K5" and offer the game for a lot less to help move units. I guess we'll know for sure if anything was done to 2K12 to deem it the name 2K13 when it's released. We will know if the Astros are still in the National League Central. Then again, The Show 13 won't have that many changes either.
