Crocheted appliques are a good way to add embellishment to any fiber art project. Appliques are flat pieces in different shapes that can be attached to blankets, scarves, handbags, and more.
These tiny flowers are very quick and easy to make. There are many different variations you can make with these patterns. In the examples shown, the flowers are in two different sizes; they are made using the same pattern, but the smaller flower is made with finer yarn and a smaller hook. Use the flowers individually, or layer them together for a different effect. In the examples shown, the layered flower on the left was assembled by sewing around the outside edge of the pink flower; the flowers on the right were sewn together around the center.
Attach these adorable flowers to another crochet project, or use them for other crafts. Mount them on barrettes, attach pin backs to use as a brooch, or join a string of them together to form a garland!
