Another retailer has listed a disc version for the upcoming video game, "Minecraft Xbox One Edition." According to a report from Christian Today on May 2, Walmart has open a product page for the open-world sandbox title. The retailer expects to ship the software product sometime during the month of Dec. while providing a price tag of $59.96.

Xbox One players should be getting the digital version of "Minecraft Xbox One Edition" much sooner. The downloadable versions of the existing console ports came out digitally first before being made available at retailers several months later. For example, "Minecraft PS3 Edition" came out through the Playstation Store on Dec. 17, 2013, and will be released as a disc on May 16, 2014.

Some fans believed that "Minecraft Xbox One Edition" could be coming out earlier than the two upcoming Playstation ports as it was announced approximately two months earlier last year. As it result, the Xbox One port may be further along the development cycle when compared to PS4 and Vita versions. 4J Studios did mention that all three games are being developed simultaneously along with the 1.06 patch for "Minecraft PS3 Edition."

The $59.96 price tag appears to be a place holder. The previous console versions, "Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition" and "Minecraft PS3 Edition," are priced at $19.99 on digital stores as well as retailers. Finally, Walmart also teased that more information should be coming soon in regards to the video game. You can find the product page in the following link: "Minecraft Xbox One Edition."

One of the features that has been announced for the next-generation port is the ability to transfer saves from "Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition." The Xbox One game may also include bigger worlds as well as some visual enhancements such as a higher native resolution support. Although no release date window has been announced so far for "Minecraft Xbox One Edition," Mojang is expected to be making an proclamation relatively soon. The announcement could occur in the middle of next month at E3 2014, which is the biggest gaming convention of the year. The same company has already confirmed that "Minecraft PS4 Edition" and "Minecraft Vita Edition" should be coming out before the start of Oct. of this year.
