‘Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition’ themed Gamerpics now available

The official Xbox Live Arcade website announced on Wednesday that gamers can now purchase new Xbox Live Gamerpics based upon “Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition.” The new avatars can be downloaded in four themed sets that include five pictures for the price of 80 Microsoft Points each. Fans can now represent their Xbox Live presence with baby animals from “Minecraft” as well as mineral blocks and more.

The popular block building game has performed well as “Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition” has now sold over 6 million copies in less than a year since its release. The game should see a new explosion of sales later this month when the title receives a retail disc release which will allow gamers to purchase the game in stores and not require an internet connection to be able to download.

Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition” is now available to download from the Xbox Live Arcarde on Xbox 360.
