4J Studios' release of Skin Pack 4 earlier this week allows gamers to use a variety of new skins inside “Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition” that are largely based upon characters from popular gaming franchises such as “Borderlands,” “Assassin’s Creed,” “Halo,” and “Dragon’s Age.” However, there is one set of skins mixed into the pack that will allow players to take on the persona of wild woodland creatures in the Xbox 360 version of “Minecraft” that is also available as part of Skin Pack 4.

Perhaps this is to appeal to furries (those people who dress up as plush animals) or maybe it’s just to add some original spice to a skin pack for “Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition” that is otherwise so full of licensed characters, but these woodland avatar choices are almost frightening when one thinks of these animals mining the land in order to build imaginative creations.

Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition” is now available for download via Xbox Live. The game’s Skin Pack 4 is also now purchasable for 160 Microsoft Points.
