"Millionaire Matchmaker" Patti Stanger was in a year-long lesbian relationship with a woman 10 years her senior. Stanger made the admission on the VH-1 Jenny McCarthy Talk show. The clip from The Jenny McCarthy show was posted on the VH-1 website Feb. 15. Stanger admitted that the woman was the first one to make her climax.
Stanger, 51, who has been dating former baseball player turned mortgage broker David Krause since March 2012, revealed to Jenny McCarthy that she was in a year-long lesbian relationship with a woman 10 years her senior.
Stanger, who is the star of the Bravo series "The Millionaire Matchmaker" who has made a very successful career out of matchmaking not only heterosexual couples, but homosexual couples, told McCarthy:
“I didn’t like doing her, I liked when she did me. That’s the truth. But you know, then I realized I had to have the “C,” you know what I’m talking about. I had to have a big hunk of a man.”
Jenny asked Stanger, “So, never again?” to which Patti replied, “No. I’m totally, totally straight. I tried it, I dabbled. I’m for gay rights, I think they deserve to be married, but that’s it.”
Patti and David met online, and Stanger revealed, “We want the same things, and our deal breakers are the same – I think it just fell into alignment.”
Stanger, who wrote the book “Become Your Own Matchmaker” says she followed her book and did everything she had written in it. Patti was shocked it worked for her, saying, “To be honest with you, it works for other people, but not for me. I didn’t know it would!”
Stanger and Krause are enjoying their relationship and things could not be better. Reportedly the couple is even talking about adopting children together.
Patti said about David:
“We have a lot in common. For example, he’s spiritual, he loves photography and we both love to travel. Most importantly, we communicate really well. In fact, that’s one of my favorite things to do with him — our communication is really key. His priorities are in check — he wants to be married and he wants to keep his family together. He’s finally one of those guys that isn’t a player.”
Before meeting David, Stanger dated real estate executive Andy Friedman, whom she met through a matchmaker, for seven years. At the time of the breakup with Friedman, Patti tweeted, “I just ended my relationship with Andy. It hit me really hard that I want kids in my life. You have to agree on the non-negotiables.”
