Mila Kunis talks about bony chest, Twitter on Craig Ferguson (videos)
On January 7, 2011, Mila Kunis appeared on Late Late with Craig Ferguson and delivered a very honest interview. The 27-year-old Ukranian beauty dished on her weight loss as she prepared for her role in Black Swan as Lily by discussing her “bony chest” and also revealed she is “scared of Twitter.” Those who think they are following the “Official Mila Kunis Twitter account” be forewarned; you aren’t. Mila doesn’t have one, (neither does Natalie Portman).
Mila jumped right into the conversation which was peppered with plenty of humorous tidbits by host, Craig Ferguson. Mila said that she watched the Black Swan clip that Craig aired backstage and she couldn’t believe how bony her chest was. “It looked disgusting,” she stated. Craig reassured her she looked fine but commented he was glad to see her chest was back to its normal self. Mila lost a reported 20 pounds during her grueling ballet training which she later stated she promptly put back on by eating her favorite fast foods.
Craig spoke about the Oscar buzz that surrounded Mila’s performance as Lily, but sadly it wasn’t to happen. Mila Kunis was overlooked by the Academy Awards though her good friend and co-star, Natalie Portman won Best Actress.
Mila and Craig spoke about a variety of topics and Mila revealed she previously went skydiving while filming her film with costar Justin Timberlake Friends with Benefits. There was plenty of talk about Australia as Mila said she had been to Fiji but not Australia. She also revealed that she is a huge Dexter fan as well as true crime stories, such as programming on I.D. When asked if she reads books on serial killers, Mila brought the audience to laughter by replying, “I don’t read.” Mila was only joking as she later revealed that not only does she read, but she is a huge fan of the Harry Potter series.
Craig Ferguson realized they hadn’t read the emails and he asked Mila if she’d like to do them. She told Craig that she doesn’t use Twitter saying, “It frightens me.” Craig asked her why and she responded, “I don’t think people need to know when I’m going to the restroom.” She said she didn’t know what she would tweet people to which Craig Ferguson replied, “I’d like to know when you’re going to the restroom.”
