Michael Jordan has had a whirlwind year so far in 2013. The Charlotte Bobcats’ owner turned 50 this year, got married and now, he and wife, Yvette Prieto, are expecting identical twin girls according to numerous reports on Nov. 18.
Jordan and his wife, Yvette Prieto, are expecting twins — identical twin girls, according to TMZ and E Online. The twins will be the fourth and fifth children for Jordan, who has two sons and a daughter with his ex-wife, Juanita.
According to TMZ, the pregnancy is progressing well though it is unknown how far Prieto is along.
Jordan and Prieto, a 35-year old model, married in a lavish ceremony on Saturday, April 27 in Palm Beach, Fla., after five years of dating.
While Jordan’s personal life seems to be rosy, though he will have to take hit on his Chicago area mansion which failed to sell at auction earlier this week, the Bobcats are trying to make Jordan happy professionally as well.
Charlotte is currently on a two-game win streak and is 12-14 on the season. The Bobcats are currently sitting in sixth place in the Eastern Conference playoff race. Charlotte, led by Kemba Walker and Al Jefferson, is second in the NBA in points allowed (92.7).
If the Bobcats reach the playoffs, it will be just the second playoff appearance in franchise history.
