Frangelico created a cocktail that's reminiscent of a classic wintertime treat: gingerbread. It's a pleasant mix of hazelnut-flavored Frangelico (of course), dark rum, and cinnamon schnapps. To balance out the other flavors and lighten things up a bit, they go for a bit of fizz and the must-have ginger flavor by adding ginger beer, a nice touch.
- Chocolate shavings, for garnish
- ½ oz Frangelico
- 1 oz dark rum
- ½ oz cinnamon schnapps
- Ginger beer, as needed
1. Line the rim of a highball glass with chocolate shavings and fill with ice.
2. In a cocktail shaker, combine the Frangelico, dark rum, and cinnamon schnapps with ice.
3. Shake and strain into the glass. Top with ginger beer.
