Although “Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance” was just released, Hideo Kojima is already thinking ahead in regards to a possible sequel for the multiplatform title. According to a report by Video Gamer on Feb. 22, the game director disclosed that he wants Frank Yaeger, also known as the Cyborg Ninja from “Metal Gear Solid,” to star in the follow-up release. Furthermore, he also revealed that the star will be taking out zombies that are being powered by nano-machines. You can check out some screens from the recently-released action-adventure video game in the slideshow at the top of this article and the comments from Hideo Kojima below (courtesy of Video Gamer):
Honestly I think that personally if we are going to make a sequel to Rising it should feature Frank Yaeger as a main character versus zombies... nano machine-powered zombies. That's what I'm proposing to Platinum and the producer of the project, but they seem to be ignoring me.
“Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance” was developed by Platinum Games with help from Kojima Productions. The spin-off “Metal Gear” video game was released by Konami Digital Entertainment for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles in the North American region on Feb. 19. One of the pre-order bonuses for the product was a Cyborg Ninja costume. You can purchase the title in the following link: “Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance”
