News anchor Megyn Kelly celebrated a very special Valentine’s Day this year, and not she received too many chocolates. The Fox News channel anchor and her husband Douglas Brunt are expecting the couple’s third child, according to a Feb. 14 Los Angeles Times report.
Kelly made the announcement on Valentine’s Day morning in an adorable Valentine’s Day-themed segment on Fox News’ “America Live.”
“Every Valentine's Day we always struggle to find just the right gift and yet, this year I believe that we found the perfect solution,” Kelly said on the show. “Happily, Doug and I are expecting another baby.”
The couple’s first son Edward Yates Brunt was born in September 2009 and daughter Yardley Evans Brunt arrived in April 2011. Baby Brunt no. 3 is due this summer.
According to the Los Angeles Time, Kelly’s colleague and Fox News Channel meteorologist Janice Dean, got the congratulatory train going with a Valentine graphic while others from the crew showered the anchor with balloons and flowers.
“I've got to thank the crew out here, too,” Kelly said. “Because I came out and said, 'You know guys, I'm pregnant,' and they go, 'We know.'” She added, “They know everything. They're like my brothers out here.”
