The Filipino people all over the world turned emotional when they heard the report saying Megan Young has been crowned as the Miss World 2013 in Bali, Indonesia yesterday, Sept. 28, 2013 (Philippine time).
The road to stardom is not that easy. It will push you to work hard just to achieve all your dreams whether you are a professional or not, a celebrity or ordinary people.
That is the reality of life, sometimes, you have to be brave if you really want to become a star. In the case of Megan Young, the newly-crowned Miss World 2013 in Bali, Indonesia, she gave everything just to win the title.
She started her journey when she was young, according to the report, she entered showbiz at the age of 14 when she joined "Starstruck," the biggest talent search in the number two channel, GMA-7, several years ago.
Megan failed to bag the title, but because of her natural talent, the GMA-7 executives were forced to get her services, and after several years of being a GMA Artist Talent, Megan transferred to ABS-CBN, the rival network of GMA-7 for so many years now.
The actress/host turned-beauty queen ended the Philippines journey in searching for the Miss World title. In her interview with NewsTV11's "Afternoon News" (or Balitanghali in Filipino translation) hosted by Mariz Umali earlier this afternoon, she thanked the Filipino people.
