The conference said that his solo group Rusty Anderson Afternoon will perform from 11:30 p.m. to 12:10 a.m. March 12 at Rowdys Saloon. Anderson himself will discuss guitar techniques, tell McCartney tour stories and discuss his own creative process in a session at the Austin Convention Center from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. March 13. The event will be hosted by KUT/KUTX Radio's Jody Denberg.
Anderson has been working with McCartney since 2001 when he was invited to play on the "Driving Rain" album. He's been a member of McCartney's touring band and has also released his own solo albums.

And I think as people, there’s a chemistry to the personalities that works, a dynamic that we’re able to play as team players, but also know how to really interject our own personality without hopefully destroying the music, because I think that it’s really important.”
