Master to embark on "North American Witchhunt Tour" in April

Death metal forefathers Master make their violent return to the USA in just under two weeks, this time in support of their latest platter, The Witchhunt. This time out, frontman Paul Speckmann has recruited guitarist Alex Bouks, formerly of Incantation and Goreaphobia, along with the mysterious VJS, also of Goreaphobia and Demoncy fame, on seconds guitar. Hotshot percussionist Ruston Grosse helms the skins once again, so basically we're talking about a death metal supergroup on display.

Starting with the inception of Death Strike in 1984, Paul Speckmann has remained a tenacious presence in the underground. Master continues to release uncompromising and hard-hitting albums in an era where navel-gazing and whining threatens to overtake the genre, so to miss out on this is to miss out on why death metal still matters. The band also plays a great selection of old and new cuts, all of which are guaranteed to incite glorious chaos.
