The two sisters of Mary Wolfe, an Iowa state representative, were found shot to death in their Pittsburgh home. The bodies of the two women were found in the basement with gunshot wounds to the head. According to MSN on Feb. 9, police are calling this a homicide.

Susan Wolfe, 44, and 38-year-old Sarah Wolfe, were found dead by police when they failed to show up for work on Friday and co-workers requested a well-being check at the home.

Police do not have a motive for the killings or any suspects at this time. There were no signs of forced entry at the home. The majority of the women's family members live in Iowa and they have no clue as to who would want the sisters dead.

Sarah Wolfe worked at Western Psychiatric Institute as a staff psychiatrist and Susan Wolfe was a teacher's aide at Hillel Academy in Pittsburgh's Squirrel Hill neighborhood.

Sarah Wolfe's car was missing from the house, but found about 1:15 a.m. on Saturday only a mile away from their home. The investigation is on-going.

Mary Wolfe thanked everyone for their support, friends, neighbors and colleagues. She wrote on her Facebook page, ""We are so grateful. Heartbroken, but grateful." The two sisters had just moved into the home in December. Sarah Wolfe purchased the $210,000 home on Dec. 3 and Susan moved from Iowa to live with Sarah just recently. Police did not say how long the women had been dead.
