Mark Wahlberg is reportedly hosting the 2014 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards, according to a CBS News report on Jan. 30. It looks like this "Lone Survivor" will get slimed.

The awards show is expected to take place at the USC's Galen Center in Los Angeles.

Nickelodeon's President of Content Development and Production Russell Hicks is excited about having Wahlberg as their next host.

"We are thrilled to welcome a superstar like Mark Wahlberg as he takes the helm as our master of ceremonies at the biggest kid event of the year. We can't wait for him to host and have lots of slime-filled fun with Hollywood's biggest stars and our audience."

Wahlberg will fit right in with the fun scene. He's often seen as goofy and funny in his interviews.

The actor will also star in Michael Bay's "Transformers: Age of Extinction." The movie will hit theaters on June 27. Walhberg is also working with his siblings on a reality series called "Wahlburgers."

Mark Wahlberg has four children with wife Rhea Durham. That will give him some practice on interacting with children at the awards show.
