Mardi Gras continues through Lent and beyond at Universal Studios Florida

Even though Fat Tuesday took place several days ago, the calendar at Universal Studios Florida must be broken, as the excitement of Mardi Gras continues at the park from now until May 31! For individuals who love good parades, good music, and good fun, they're in luck. For anyone who decided to give up theme parks for the next 40 days, it might not have been the smartest decision.

The “N’awlins”-inspired, family-friendly version of Mardi Gras runs select nights through May 31.

Guests can catch colorful beads by the handful during the festive Mardi Gras parade, starting at 7:15 p.m., which features 12 vibrant floats, including three new additions celebrating Jules Verne’s novel, “Around the World in 80 Days.” Guests can also visit Universal Studios Florida’s very own French Quarter Courtyard, opening at 4:00 p.m., to enjoy authentic Cajun cuisine and see performances by bands pulled straight from Bourbon Street.

This Saturday, March 8, at 8:00 p.m., visitors can enjoy a live performance by Latin recording artist Prince Royce. The 16-time Latin Billboard Award winner’s latest album, Soy el Mismo, debuted at No. 1 on the Latin Album charts, with the first single, “Darte un Beso,” topping Billboard’s Latin, Latin Pop and Latin Tropical Airway charts for five weeks, making it the artist’s most successful single release to date.

The excitement of Universal Orlando’s Mardi Gras celebration is included with admission to Universal Studios Florida.
