A tax preparation service in a residential area of Detroit was the target for two armed robbers. However, the two did not expect to also find a security guard armed with an AR-15 inside either. The attempted robbery happened on Thursday afternoon at 2:30 according to a report by My FOX Detroit. And the entire thing, which lasted only a few seconds, was caught on video.
There has been much talk among gun-grabbers in recent weeks about “assault rifles”. They say that these so-called “weapons of war” do not belong in the hands of citizens, that they do not belong in neighborhoods; they only belong on the battlefield.
As National Gun Rights Examiner, David Codrea explores in a recent article, “assault rifles” are presumably good enough for the self-defense of select elites, but too bad for the commoners. However, had that man not been armed with an AR-15, this story might have very well ended differently. Today, the man armed with an AR-15 is a hero, but this a story that will most likely never make mainstream media headlines.
With NBC’s weeklong series “investigating” “gun violence” in America, which exploits deaths that occurred over a weekend in January in an attempt to gain acceptance for gun control, the Little Rock Gun Rights Examiner has started its own series in an effort to help show that guns not only take lives, they very often save them. The series will highlight 30 days of guns saving lives. This is story number six.
