According to Wednesday's NJ.Com, a man accused of stealing a Dover, N.J., woman's dog, and her flat-screen television, has been arrested.
The man who the woman knew only as "Joel," was actually 23-year-old Honey Ahmed of Elizabeth. Ahmed showed his true colors on his first date with the woman when he allegedly whisked away her Yorkshire terrier, "Violet," and a 50-inch flat screen television last Thursday when the woman left him alone inside of her residence for "a period of time."
Both Violet, and the big television, were returned to the woman's Ann Street front door step early Saturday morning - the little dog was tethered to the T.V., and she was reported to be in good health.
Ahmed was arrested by the Elizabeth Police Department late Tuesday - he is charged with two counts of theft and was booked into the Morris County jail on $50,000 bail.
The unidentified woman met Ahmed through an online dating site.
