Luxury Tech Show, Gambero Rosso at Met Pavilion, Dolce and Gabbana Store Party

The events in March so far have been quite varied: The Luxury Technology Show, The Italian Wine Expo, (Both held at the Metropolitan Pavilion) and the Dolce and Gabbana's store party on Madison Avenue.

A unique, one-of-a-kind luxury showcase featured top-of-the-line electronics and technology as well as introduced brand-new products from 50 top-notch companies from around the globe, took place earlier this week. Members of the media were the first to experience some of the most innovative goods before they go on the market to the general public. LTS featured some of the most prestigious and cutting edge technology brands in photography, home and business, home audio, smart watches, appliances, automotive, accessories and many more. The Italian Wine Expo featuring Prosecco superior and Vino Nobile di Montepulciano was also held at the Metropolitan Pavilion. The editor-in-chief of Vini d'Italia guide, Marco Sabellico, Gambero Rosso as well as many of the top producers of the best red and white gathered together for a VIP tasting along with some light Italian fare. Retailers, restaurant owners and journalists sampled some of the most high-end wines at what was referred to as "The odd couple" with wine producers of both Prosecco superior and Vino Nobile di Montepulciano under one roof on a chilly March late afternoon/evening. The Italian experience did not end after the wine tasting, it continued on in midtown over at the Dolce and Gabbana store on Madison Avenue.

Harper's Bazaar partnered with Dolce and Gabbana to celebrate the 'Women to Watch' event with hosts: Sue Kroll, Desiree' Gruber and Cristiana Faleone along with Harper's Bazaar, Executive Editor, Laura Brown. Guests enjoys martini's and mocktails (non-alcoholic drinks) served by runway-ready, male models. Tasty canapés also made their way through the crowd while party-goers shopped as they admired the Dolce and Gabbana new Watch Collection. A glamorous dj played some of the best obscure music from the 70's through the 90's, wrapping-up the evening nicely and everyone in attendance had a wonderful time at this lovely event.
