Luke Bryan will perform with Florida Georgia Line as part of the ACM Fan Jam in April. The Academy of Country Music announced on February 7 that both ACM-nominated artists will appear at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas as part of the ACM Fan Jam as well as a live remote broadcast during the ACM Awards.
Luke Bryan and Florida Georgia Line were the opening act for the CMA Awards in November. The artists collaborated on Luke Bryan’s “That’s My Kind of Night” and Florida Georgia Line’s “Cruise.” The Academy of Country Music has not indicated which songs to expect from the pairing at the Fan Jam or the ACM Awards, but with such dynamic artists, the show is sure to be exciting.
Both acts are great showmen, giving their audiences energetic performances. In fact, Luke Bryan’s stage shows are what helped him to earn the ACM Entertainer of the Year award last year. He is nominated for the top honor again in 2014. Florida Georgia Line has also had a wild year, with their single “Cruise” becoming a #1 song and winning multiple awards. This year, the ACMs have nominated Florida Georgia Line for Vocal Duo of the Year, Single of the Year, Album of the Year, and Vocal Event of the Year.
Fans who wish to attend the ACM Fan Jam can purchase tickets through Ticketmaster.com. The Fan Jam is a live concert experience featuring several well-known country music artists. Some performances are broadcast live during the ACM Awards, but the concert continues into the evening, even after the ACM broadcast is finished.
Luke Bryan and Florida Georgia Line are the first performers announced for the ACMs this year. The Academy will reveal the remainder of the performers in the next few weeks over the course of multiple announcements.
