Liv it up for St. Patrick's Day

The Liv line of dolls from Spinmaster may have been discontinued, but that has not stopped these lovely lasses from being popular collectibles as well as great for holiday displays. Looking like lively little leprechauns, Liv dolls Katie, Sophie and Gavin have put on their festive green St. Patrick's day outfits to celebrate the Irish holiday.

Kneeling Sophie wears an eBay find, while standing Sophie and the two Katies wear their own Liv clothing: Moonlight Dance, Prom Night, and Original Katie. Gavin has also purchased his green shamrock outfit on eBay.

The Liv dolls were introduced in 2009 by Spinmaster as possible replacements for Barbie, but by fall 2012, the line had been discontinued. However, the dolls remain popular with collectors because of their great articulation, well-made clothes and exchangeable wigs. See the slideshow for more St. Patrick's Day Liv photos.

It looks like the Liv girls and Gavin found the pot of gold and will be enjoying many more Saint Patrick's Day celebrations to come.
