Linkin Park claims the pole position on this week's Active Rock Chart

See also

Even though Linkin Park reached the Top Five on the Active Rock Chart with “Guilty All The Same” in just three weeks, the song had to wait nine weeks, and for the Number One runs by The Pretty Reckless and Chevelle to end, before the Active and Alternative Rock veterans could claim the pole position on this week's All Access Active Rock Chart.

According to Mediabase data reported to All Access for the week ending May 3, Linkin Park accumulated 6.216 million impressions to top the chart, while last week's Number One, Chevelle's “Take Out The Gunman” ranks closely behind at number two with 6.187 million impressions. While more will be mentioned later, Mediabase reconfiguration late last week that lowered impression levels might have played a factor regarding which song topped this week's Active Rock Chart, given Linkin Park's slim 29,000 impression lead over Chevelle.

As always, impressions are listed in millions, TW is This Week, LW is Last Week, NE is New Entry, RE is Re-Entry, and R is Recurrent. Ties in impressions are broken by which song has the higher number of detections.

Mediabase reconfiguration leads to lower impressions levels

Note: As mentioned earlier, if these audience titles seem down from the last article reflecting the impression totals, they are. Mediabase adjusted audience figures down at every format. For that reason, almost every song lost impressions from the week before. With the adjustment in configuring actual audience this week, no songs are listed in bold representing a gain in impressions, and no Greatest Gainers or Biggest Losers are noted this week, with the change from the previous week's total audience.
