The liberal group, Organizing for Action (OFA), an organization that supports and dedicates its communist ways in promoting President Obama’s agenda and policies, is currently planning its “Action August”, an advocacy initiative that includes so-called “national action days” focused on liberal issues that will include the assault on gun rights on August 21, 2013, supported by President Obama.
The NRA sent out an urgent notice to its members that said, “NRA members need to stand-up now and let their elected officials know they will not sit by and let the Constitution be trampled, nor will they be blamed for the insidious acts of criminals and lunatics.”
When OFA sent out its email on Thursday to its supporters, Warner Todd Huston of the conservative website, Breitbart news said, "This is the same organization that President Obama used to set up a website for people to tattle on those that disparaged his presidency."
OFA email also had comments by liberal Democratic Governor of Massachusetts, Deval Patrick who said in-part, “By signing up for Truth Team, you’ll get tip sheets, regular updates, and all the facts and figures you need to make sure your friends, family, and coworkers know the facts. OFA will never send you something that isn’t backed up by a source you can check out for yourself — you’ll always be able to feel confident about passing things along.”
The OFA stated that they intend to start their campaign, on Sunday, the day of President Obama’s birthday, which by coincidence, is the same day that Islamic terror threats against U.S. embassies overseas was revealed and U.S. embassies were ordered to shut down, with the so-called benefits of enrolling in Obamacare.
The OFA intends to man phone banks and may attend GOP Town-hall events and spread inaccurate gun control information and statistics the NRA said in their video message.
While OFA and President Obama continues its attempts to circumvent the 2nd Amendment, surveys have shown that gun owners are not in line with OFA and Obama’s gun control agendas.
A Quinnipiac University national poll released on Friday, in select states, most democratic, showed that with large racial and gender divisions, with voters backing so-called "Stand Your Ground" state laws, 53 - 40 percent.
A similar survey conducted by Rasmussen last month and conducted nationwide revealed that most Americans favor "Stand Your Ground" laws by forty-five percent in favor with thirty-two percent opposing the law and that 74 percent think Americans have a constitutional right to Own a gun.
The OFA liberal organization also plans events including, immigration reform and climate change but doesn’t include the most pressing issues, the economy and job growth as the Daily Caller pointed out in late July where unemployment remains at 7.6 percent.
