'Left 4 Dead 2' free, 'Terraria', 'Skyrim' and more discounted in Steam sale

Valve updated its Steam Holiday 2013 Sale on Christmas Day with a number with discounts on The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Terraria and more. However, there's an extra special gift in there with a a free copy of Left 4 Dead 2.

"To celebrate the holidays in a special way this year, Left 4 Dead 2 will be free until 10AM PST on 12/26," Valve announced in a post on Steam.

"It will be free as in, grab it now, pay no money, and it is yours to keep forever – FOR FREE!"

You'll need to go directly to the Left 4 Dead 2 page on Steam and install the game to your PC to ensure you get your free copy.

As for the new Daily Deals, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is marked down 75 percent to $7.49 along with Terraria at $2.49, Deus EX: Human Revolution Director's Cut at $4.99, Trial Evolution Gold Edition at $4.99 and Endless Space: Emperor Edition for $7.49.

Roller Coaster Tycoon 3: Platinum gets a steep cut as to $5.99 along while PayDay 2 is 55 percent off at $13.49, Europa Universalis IV is down to $19.99 and Football Manager 2014 is $24.99.

There are also rotating Flash Sales every eight hours with the current batch featuring The King of Fighters XIII, Dungeon Defenders, Kingdoms Rise and Guncraft all up to 85 percent off until 9 p.m. EST.

Don't forget that yesterday's deals featuring State of Decay, Callof Duty: Ghosts, Baldur's Gate and more are still on-going
